We will be visiting my in laws for the holidays. Was wondering if you have any availability to do a family shoot over the weekend after Christmas. There will be 13 of us. We were hoping for an outdoor/beach shoot but understand weather may not cooperate. I’m assuming you have a studio as well? Wasn’t sure on sitting fee for a group this size.

Hey Danelle, it’s been a long time! So great that you will be out visiting your in laws. I do not have a studio, I shoot completely on location. The beach is one of my favorite places to photograph families. Since rescheduling will not be an option, we’ll want to brainstorm on an alternate indoor location in the event of rain or extreme wind. I do recommend afternoon sessions for the beach and am available on either Friday, December 26th or Sunday, December 28th. (I am already booked for a similar large family session on Saturday afternoon.) In terms of my fee, it really depends on the time I spend and how much you want printed or digitally. If you are just looking to get that big family portrait and maybe one of the grandkids with grandparents, I can do that fairly quickly. But, if you’d like to take advantage of the fact that you are already there and dressed and want to include some individual family pictures, or some super fun cousin and sibling pictures it will be a little more. We should probably have a conversation about what your expectations and options are and I can put together a package that will work best for your needs to get the most value for your investment.
